The BS in Accounting prepares students to build and shape the future with accounting and technology skills. This program teaches students more than numbers. Students learn the theories and procedures that support financial analysis as they discover the integration of faith into financial decision-making. The BS in Accounting at Carson-Newman prepares students to fulfill their full potential and reach their career goals while serving society.

BS IN ACCOUNTING AT A GLANCE

Hybrid Nashville Educational Center

Prepare for a number of careers that value a robust approach to problem solving and critical thinking in areas from auditing to financial analytics and more, all while you complete your studies either fully online or as a hybrid program at an accelerated pace—in as little as one year!  

Courses offered in the hybrid format will meet in person with their professor once a week with the remainder of course work completed online.

Schedule

  • Monday nights in the Spring 2025 semester from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM or 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
  • Classes for BS in Accounting run for seven weeks.

Attendance

  • Is attendance mandatory? Yes, attendance is mandatory but flexible. As these classes are designed for working adults, we understand that life happens. It is our desire to work with students when situations arise.
  • Are students able to Zoom in for live sessions? Currently, this option is not available. All in-person learning requires physical attendance.

Accreditation
Carson-Newman is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees.
